Learning To Love the Journey, the Skyblue Way

I’m here to bring a perspective that many of you may not think to associate with Skyblue; Health & Fitness. Just as the athlete, the misfit, & the daredevil have all begun to live this Skyblue lifestyle, so has the girl with a passion for nutrition and fitness. Being a college girl who has had her struggles with the freshman 15, I can’t help but emphasize how important it is to take care of your body. It’s taken 4 years to progress to where I am now, and I am not yet done progressing; which means it takes TIME. Time is the most valuable thing you can possibly treasure. Time is something that you cannot get back. As long as you love what you’re doing with your time, then there is no time wasted. Something that I’ve always stressed with health and fitness is to ENJOY your journey. That to me, is the most important aspect of living a happy and healthy lifestyle. It’s going to take a lifestyle change in order for you to see any progress, and that goes with any obstacle that you may be facing. With health and fitness, society loves to pressure people into thinking that they need to see immediate changes. In my opinion that couldn’t be further from the truth. I am living proof that a lifestyle change has allowed me to live a happy and healthy life, all while enjoying the JOURNEY. I am happy with who I am as a person, I am happy with how I feel with my body, and I am happy to be surrounded by an environment that allows me to escape from life’s worries for a little bit. Enjoying my journey has been nothing but Skyblue.
