Surrender (Poetry)

Do you feel the ripple of its beating, salty heart
Its soul rising and crashing against your own
Reshaping, enhancing, weathering
Strengthening you?
Do you let it engulf you in its wisdom
Its infinite mystery
As you sink slowly into its brilliance forever?
Surrender your own current
And float freely in the vast expanse that is love itself
You are but a single plankton
You mean nothing
You mean everything
